As we have tried
to put as much
detail into the
services and
packages we
offer, we
understand that
there are many
questions that
prospective
customers may
still have. If
you have any
questions that
are not listed
herein, we
encourage you to
contact our
customer support
department so
that we may
address any
further concerns
you have.
Q. I need a
custom package
outside what you
offer to better
accommodate my
web site, do you
provide custom
packages?
A. You bet, we
can customize a
variety of
features
specifically
designed for
you.
Q. What
domain names
extensions do
you support?
A. We support
all domain name
extensions.
Q. What type
of payment
methods do you
accept?
A. We accept
Paypal payments
only. Plans are
set at
subscription
based payments
and are
automatically
deducted on per
month basis or
per year basis,
depending on
your
preferences. We
are looking into
other payment
methods to
accommodate
other customer
preferences.
Q. Do you
provide domain
name
registration?
A. Not at this
time. We do,
however provide
multiple
resources as to
where you can
get domain
names.
Q. Do you
offer referral
incentives?
A. If you refer
anyone to sign
up for any
package and they
successfully
maintain their
hosting with
Interface
Hosting for at
least 90 days,
we will
reimburse your
Paypal account
$5.00 (less
paypal fees) per
sign up after
the 90 days. For
detailed
information,
please contact
customer
support.
Q. If I
cancel my
service for any
reason, can I
get a refund?
A. You may
cancel at
anytime and are
not bound to any
contract of any
kind. If you are
on a pay per
month schedule
under any plan ,
you are not
eligible for a
refund. If you
are on a pay per
year schedule
under any plan,
you are eligible
for a full
refund under the
months of which
you have not
entered. It is
your
responsibility
to cancel any
forthcoming
subscription
based payments
in your Paypal
account.
Q. What
method(s) do you
use to suppress
hacking/attacking
attempts?
A. We use quite
a few different
methods;
-Firewall - blocking ports and most DOS attacks.
-Brute force attacks blocking - blocks those who attempt to login
with the wrong
password several
times.
-Blocking IP spoofing - Prevents hackers hiding their IP address.
-Secure temp directories - Prevents exploitable scripts being
executed.
-Automatic reporting of attacks to ISPs.
-PHP & Apache hardening - Prevents most, if not all, XSS exploits.
-Hardened SSH - Runs on hidden ports, secured protocol, shutdown
when unused,
etc.
-Socket monitoring - Notifies us of opened ports which are
suspicious.
Additional
methods are also
used and
therefore
implemented in
the server and
server
configuration to
exceed maximum
security
available to all
customers in an
ongoing attempt
to prevent
malicious access
and attempts to
circumvent data
sensitive areas.
Q. Should a
service or site
get hacked or
attacked, what
measures do you
use to restore
such service or
site to an
earlier point?
A. Should any
site get hacked,
we will find out
how it got
hacked and take
measures to
prevent it
happening again.
We will also
restore the
site(s) from
earlier backups
and file a
report to the
ISP involved.
